The abstract read: “The souls of our loved ones watch over us from above in this sacred moment before the ofrenda, adorned with their favourite offerings during Hanal Pixan ('Food for the Souls' in Maya). The Souls represented with the bright tones of cempasúchil flowers - the Lady and the Altar, coloured in the soft limestone hues of Yucatán, honour their enduring presence.”
